Meyer's Goat Shack shampoo bars contain hand selected ingredients that promote a moisturized scalp and well-conditioned, shiny hair.

Each of our shampoo bar selections contain a different blend of natural plant oils, essential oils and calendula-infused oils and contain different essential oil scents.

Tips on how to use a Shampoo Bar:

The Wash: Hold the shampoo bar in the palm of one hand and apply it directly to your head, starting at your scalp near your forehead. Work the bar in small circular motions back towards the base of your neck to create a gentle lather. Swipe the bar along the sides of your head, by your ears, to apply the shampoo evenly. For longer hair, you may want to lift your hair off your neck and apply the bar to the back of your head using small circular motions, getting enough product on the underside of your hair.  Put the shampoo bar down on a soap dish with drainage and, using your fingers, work the lather through the roots of your hair with a massaging motion. Run your hands down the length of your hair to cleanse from your scalp to the tips of your locks. Rinse.

Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse (this helps to restore the PH in your hair, and conditions your hair as well)

Combine 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar and 2 cups water, pour over hair and scalp and rinse with warm water. For less hard water, you can use as little as 1 to 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar to 3 cups water and leave it in if you prefer. Vinegar conditions and gives your hair shine. Your hair will smell like vinegar until dry but the smell goes away. I use this method and absolutely love it and after I towel dry my hair my brush goes easily through my long hair!
